Police K9 Dog Names
Did you know that to become a four-legged member of the police force, crime-fighting canines have to go through extensive training?
Not every dog is cut out to be a K-9 officer… however, all dogs have the ability to smell up to 100,000 times stronger than their owners!
This makes pooches great at tracking down bad guys, finding explosives, and other important evidence used in investigations.
Most dogs specialize in one element of training and put their nose to good use. For example, Beagles are often used by the police to sniff out explosives.
